Sonata in E (2013)
When the National Conference of the Christian Fellowship of Art Music Composers was held at Mississippi College in 2013, some of the member composers met Emily Williams, the violinist wife of Benjamin Williams for the first time. Despite regularly performing together, he had not composed anything original for their duo. With the encouragement of the other composers, Williams wrote his Sonata in E before the end of the year and presented it as a gift to his wife.
