Program Notes
This piece was completed during the week in 2007 when summer turned to fall. As I was driving with my wife on the way to pick pumpkins to carve we remarked at the beauty of the changing leaves and the bright clear sky. The air was crisp and we delighted in taking in the autumnal season. The name of this piece became all to clear at this point, The Eve of Autumn. The moods depicted in the music closely matched the feelings we experienced that cool fall day as we went out and enjoyed all that comes with the changing of seasons. Movements
